Armistice Day

Today, the 11th day of November, commemorates the end of World War I.  At 11am, Hindus across the UK will join the two minutes silence to pay tribute to the military personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. In addition to offering our Shradhanjali (tribute to deceased) to those who attained Veergati (died in combat) in WWI, we also invoke the blessings of our Devas for the end of current hostilities in Ukraine.
