- When we refer to Hindus, we are referring to those who self-identified as adherents of Sanatan Dharma
- When we refer to Britain, we are referring to the ancient lands and modern nation-state which is now known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Irelandâ €
- When we refer to Bharat, we are referring to Bharatavarsha, the indigenous civilisational term for the Indian Subcontinentâ €
- When we refer to modern country names such as India, we are referring to those modern nation-states
