Sanjay Sharma, a 40 year old Kashmiri Hindu from Pulwama (Jammu & Kashmir, India) was shot dead by terrorists on Sunday 26th February 2023. Even though targeted killings of Kashmiri Hindus have once again become regular occurrences, Western media sources have adopted a policy of selective silence by failing to report on the situation. In January 2023, seven Hindus (including children) were killed by terrorists, with at least 15 more being injured.
Sanjay was visiting a local market and worked as a security guard at a bank. One of the terrorists who murdered Sanjay, named Aqib Mustaq Bhat, was neutralised by Indian security forces today. Sanjay leaves behind a five-year-old daughter, pictured above.
The ethnocide of Kashmiri Hindus in 1989/1990 lead to 1,300+ being murdered by terrorists in a short space of time and over 350,000 Hindus fleeing Kashmir, who have now been living in exile as refugees for over 33 years.
The ~2,500-3,000 Hindus who stayed in Kashmir are sitting ducks for terrorists to target and need to be protected, as Kashmiri Hindus are the indigenous people of Kashmir, with a history of over 5,000 years in the area.
