The British Hindu Report (BHR) has launched: an independent, annual study designed to answer a question that currently has no good answer – who are Britain’s Hindus today, and how are they shaping national life?

Combining a national survey, in-depth interviews and expert analysis, the BHR aims to reach beyond temple networks to capture the community’s full diversity – across region, tradition, generation and belief. It is not affiliated with any single sect, sampradaya or political party, and all responses will be anonymised under UK GDPR.
The report was initially launched at the Varchasva Summit by @yogfoundation and then presented at the Banyan Tree Network UK launch @banyantreenetwork
The first report is due to be released in November 2026, with annual editions to follow – giving policymakers, employers and Hindu institutions real evidence about the British Hindu community, instead of using outdated data or guesswork
